Hi Berthold,

Was nice talking to you on the phone. I'll check with local boat movers on the cost of moving to your zipcode.

Love Bayfields and this is a beauty - has to get rid of my Bayfield 25 - a victim of the recession - if I had the money I would buy this in a heartbeat.

Hi Anton,
I am a US resident in North Carolina and would love to own your boat. Your US$ cash purchase price seems reasonable to me, subject to any issues per survey (there seem to be none) and I could come to Ontario in the week of October 11th. I just inquired into slip rental here in New Bern, NC (ZIP 28562). Hope to meet you soon.
So long,
Berthold

Hi Jon,

Thank you for your comment. If you give me a zipcode, I'll find out the quote from the local boat movers. Boat is still in the water until Oct 14. It would be too difficult to finance a US buyer or solve a problem if arise with the payments if boat is 2000 miles away. I already have an offer for financed deal from a great local couple but I want to wait a bit to see if I will get a cash deal before proceeding with financing as it has some disadvantages.

I am interested, however, I live in the San Francisco Bay area. I would need to truck the boat some 2000 miles from Ontario to San Francisco. Since winter is approaching, have you put the boat on the hard and prepped it for winter?

Also, you indicate owner financing, however, only for Canadian buyers. Is that due to local financing rules? And, if not, can you extend financing to a U.S. buyer?

The boat shows beautifully; you have put a considerable amount of work into upgrading her. Thanks!

Hi Addison,

- The hull was built in 1975 but it's condition is more like you would see on a clean 90s boat. You can see this year close ups here: http://www.my-boat-for-sale.com/hull.html. Bayfields are famous for the high quality work.
- Engine is 1993 Yanmar 2GM20 diesel. Well maintained and runs like a clock.
- 130% furling genoa and spinnaker are 1988
- Mainsail is 2003
- There are many upgrades and replacements in electrical and pluming done in 2010
- Cradle was custom done in 2000s
- Dingy 2010

Let me know if you need more information about her.

I owned a C&C 34 that I purchased in Sarnia and moved to Buffalo. The process was remarkably simple. I was met at the dock by US Customs and the paperwork was completed onboard in about 5 minutes. I also believe it was the first time dude had ever been aboard a sailboat.
